Terms of service

These terms govern use of Motivox, the garage software SaaS provided by Innovolabs B.V. They are practical SaaS terms — not a substitute for legal advice. By creating an account, starting a trial, or using Motivox, you agree to these terms.

1. Parties and contact

Provider: Innovolabs B.V. (KvK 97588911), email hello@innovolabs.nl. VAT ID available on request. No street address is published on this site.

Customer: the legal entity or sole trader that registers a Motivox tenant (garage / shop).

2. The service

Motivox is a multi-tenant web SaaS for auto repair shops. It supports a connected job chain — typically intake, inspection, quote/approval, work order, hours, parts/consumables, and invoicing — via three web portals:

• Office (back office / shop owner)
• Technician
• Customer (login and/or secure links)

Motivox is not a separate native iOS/Android application. Optional integrations (e.g. Mollie, Tikkie, Exact Online, Moneybird, e-Boekhouden) are available per shop after you connect them; they are not enabled for everyone by default. RDW plate lookup and APK reminders are not a certified APK-station software suite. Customer appointment slots are available after quote approval — not as cold public self-booking.

Features evolve over time; marketing pages describe current capabilities and may be updated.

3. Accounts and access

You must provide accurate registration and onboarding information. You are responsible for:

• Users you invite (office and technician seats)
• Keeping credentials confidential and enabling MFA where offered
• Activity under your tenant
• Compliance with applicable law when processing your own customers’ data in Motivox

We may suspend access for security incidents, unpaid fees after notice, or material breach.

4. Trial, plans, and billing

• New shops may receive a 30-day trial after sign-up (subject to confirmation and onboarding).
• After trial, you choose a plan in Motivox (e.g. ZZP or Garage) and pay via Stripe. List prices on the website are excl. VAT; Stripe Tax adds VAT where applicable.
• Seat limits apply per plan; extra seats may be billed as add-ons when offered.
• Garage group / unlimited seats are available on request (sales).
• You may cancel monthly via the Stripe customer portal in Motivox, subject to the billing period already paid.
• Repair invoices your shop issues to its customers are separate from Motivox subscription fees. Online payment of those invoices requires your shop to connect Mollie or Tikkie.

Prices and plan details may change for future periods; we will communicate material changes reasonably in advance where required.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Attempt to access another tenant’s data
• Probe, overload, or disrupt the service beyond normal use
• Use Motivox for unlawful content or activities
• Resell or white-label the service without our written agreement
• Circumvent seat limits, billing, or security controls

6. Customer content and data protection

You retain ownership of content you upload or generate in your tenant (customers, jobs, invoices, media, etc.). You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display that content solely to provide Motivox.

For personal data of your end customers, you are generally the controller and we the processor. A DPA is available on request. See also our privacy policy.

7. Intellectual property

Motivox software, branding, documentation, and related IP remain owned by Innovolabs B.V. or its licensors. These terms grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the SaaS during an active subscription or trial, not ownership of the software.

8. Availability and support

We aim for commercially reasonable availability and provide email support on business days (NL/EN) as described on the pricing page. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Planned maintenance and force majeure may affect availability. Backups and hosting are part of the service design; restore options may be limited by the nature of the incident.

9. Warranties and liability

The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by Dutch law. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited (including intent or deliberate recklessness by Innovolabs B.V. itself).

Subject to the previous sentence:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential damage (including lost profit, lost data recoverable from your own exports, or reputational harm), unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
• Our total aggregate liability arising from or related to Motivox in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us for Motivox in that period (or, during an unpaid trial, €100).

You are responsible for verifying invoices, tax settings, and operational decisions made with the software.

10. Term and termination

These terms apply while you use Motivox. You may stop using the service and cancel billing as described above. We may terminate or suspend for material breach, illegal use, or prolonged non-payment. After termination, access ends; we handle tenant data per the privacy policy / DPA (export and deletion or anonymisation where applicable).

Provisions that by nature should survive (IP, liability limits, governing law, confidentiality) remain in effect.

11. Changes to the terms

We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after the effective date of updated terms constitutes acceptance, except where mandatory law requires a different process for material changes.

12. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes shall be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, with venue linked to Innovolabs B.V.’s place of business (Rechtbank Gelderland), unless mandatory consumer or other rules require otherwise.
