What's new in Motivox: live shop planning and your own dashboard

Live shop planning for Garage, solo mode for ZZP, a dashboard you arrange yourself, and a smoother onboarding, the latest Motivox updates.

A garage does not fail on the big things. It fails on Monday at 08:05, when three cars are due, one was dropped off in the night, and nobody is sure which bay is free. This round of Motivox updates is about that moment.

Live shop planning (Garage plan)

Arrivals, night-drop cars, replanned appointments, and real shop capacity now live on one board. A team cockpit shows who is clocked on and what they have on. Leave requests are handled by the team themselves instead of by a sticky note on the office door.

Live shop planning is part of the Garage plan, and because the 30-day trial is the full Garage version, you can try it on your own cars before you choose.

Solo mode for ZZP

Working alone, or with one helper? On ZZP one account now switches between the office and the workshop, and you are planned as a technician yourself. You count once towards your plan: ZZP includes you plus one extra account (office or technician).

A dashboard that is yours

Choose which tiles you see, drag them into the order you look at them, and make them bigger or smaller. New tiles:

  • Low stock, set a minimum level per product and the tile tells you what to reorder
  • Technician workload, who has room today, and who does not

Onboarding that asks the right question first

Setup now starts by asking whether you work solo or with a team, then walks you through what your shop actually needs. A Getting Started card stays on the dashboard until you are through it.

The boring-but-valuable list

  • Line discounts on labour and materials
  • Credit notes
  • Kilometres or miles per vehicle
  • Customers sign in with a one-time code, and one login covers more than one Motivox garage
